Community Invited to dine at Candor October 1-15 with 10% of proceeds to support Challenged Athletes Foundation
BRIEF SUMMARY: La Jolla neighborhood bistro’s chef/owner Giuseppe Giuffa has raised over $500,000 for CAF as a cycling participant in the organization’s annual Million Dollar Challenge, which spans over 150 cyclists, including over 25 athletes with physical disabilities to complete a 620-mile journey from San Francisco to San Diego, with the finish line in the jewel of La Jolla on October 24. He continues to raise the bar with a $50K fundraising campaign goal for 2025. Giuseppe invites the community in for delicious food, warm hospitality, and good camaraderie to support CAF, with 10 percent of proceeds going to the cause from October 1 – 15, 2025. San Diego, CA – Candor, the celebrated La Jolla bistro led by chef-restaurateur Giuseppe Ciuffa, is proud to announce a giving campaign in support of the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF). From October 1 – 15, Candor will donate 10% of all proceeds to CAF, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with physical challenges through sports and fitness.
This commitment continues Giuseppe’s deep connection with the CAF mission. Since he began participating in the organization’s annual cycling event, Giuseppe has helped raise more than $500,000 for CAF. His dedication goes beyond fundraising, as he regularly invites the community to learn more about CAF’s impact and encourages others to join in supporting its critical mission of inclusion, accessibility, and opportunity for athletes of all abilities.
